Systolic left ventricular hypertrophy is the most characteristic electrical sign of aortic stenosis.
Aortic stenosis is the most common acquired valve disease. It is a disease of the elderly, especially common after age 65 with a clear male preponderance. Aortic stenosis is defined as an obstruction of left ventricular ejection most often located at the level of the aortic valve.
